Food:

Pork ribs, grilled and barbeque-basted to perfection, are just one of the multitude of meaty items on offer to leave you licking your fingers with delight. It's a carnivore's paradise with a range of cuts available, all aged and well hung. The steaks are presented on wooden boards – or a plate, if you prefer – with flags to denote level of rareness and a variety of spice rubs, sauces or basting. The seafood, skewers, venison and salads are all equally tempting. Leave a small space for dessert and watch out for the oozy chocolate spring rolls.

Wine:

A cut above the usual restaurant list. Thoughtfully selected with a variety of options, along with an array of top-notch ‘trophy hunter’ labels. Prices are excellent too.

Service:

Friendly, warm and welcoming. Well versed in the restaurant's many offerings.

Ambience:

Definitely a more manly feel. Typical steakhouse banquette seats and bare bricks inside. There are some fantastic touches like the enamel bucket water-feature that provides a feng shui tinkle to the al fresco experience, and the water spigots that accompany the condiments.

And...:

The private dining area that seats 20 is ideal for business lunches, small private events or special family occasions. (FM, October 2011)
