8 Queen prawns - dried out, overcooked for R312! For that money you could go to a proper restaurant. When asked the waiter why he did not inform us when we ordered that it was so expensive, he said management does not want to put the price. So we're not the first to complain, it's a common problem, and they're purposely tricking the customers. Waiter could not care less, so terrible service on top of it. Will never go there again.
Loved dining here! Ordered all their specialties: starter platter, prawn cakes, seafood kebab, chocolate mousse. Everything was superb. Admittedly, their prawn cake is the star of the show, whilst everything else great, I still salivate thinking of those prawn cakes. And you can order them frozen to enjoy at home! The restaurant was packed, had a great atmosphere, and a rustic, offbeat charm. Wait staff were efficient, although not the friendliest. The area is totes dodge, but this added to the experience. A definite must if you enjoy Portuguese cuisine.
Simply the best you can get. Prawns the best I've ever tasted
Have been going here for 20 years, and will keep on going. Mother Da Cunha is in the kitchen, and everything she makes is magic. You feel like part of the family in this restaurant. Just awesome! :)
    Love ur chicken n prawns
