Food:

The menu is designed mostly for comfort and tends to feature substantial offerings at bang-for-the-buck prices. Tuck into the Cape Malay lamb curry or Karoo lamb chops, or treat yourself with lamb shank cooked in the traditional Greek style. The sticky toffee pudding is a magnificent!

Wine:

A moderately priced mostly local wine list should satisfy most diners.

Service:

The genial owners exude genuine warmth and keep a watchful eye to make sure all goes without a glitch.

Ambience:

The interior has a lovely, Bohemian feel, with an eclectic mix of gilded mirrors, bold colours and touches of art deco.

And...:

The ‘Van Alles’ breakfast is a huge hit with the morning crowd. (CV, September 2010)
