Food:

Traditional boerekos with a twist is served at Karoo, but red meat is the key word; boerewors, lamb casseroles, sosaties, karoo pie, pork belly roast, braaied meat, lamb chops, ostrich steak and bobotie. Favourites like pap and bredie shouldn’t be overlooked. A small vegetarian menu is also available. Everything done like a Karoo tannie would cook it.

Good wine list.

Service:

Fast, superfriendly, well informed and with a knack for making the right suggestions on what to order.

Ambience:

Think modern Karoo-style farmhouse.
