A real treat, and an evening of good food and entertainment. The salmon tartar starter is a winner and the trio of creme brule a quality end to the evening. Please expect to pay top dollar. We were disappointed by the lack of service both slow and lacking attention to detail.

Overpriced and over-rated. Just ate there and wish I hadn't bothered. Had to send my steak back twice it was so tough. Chicken livers ok, don't bother with the Tiramisu it was all cake and no misu. The wine prices are horrendous, yet the place was full. I never thought I would say this but a Steers burger would have been better value. The only saving grace was the competence of the waiters.

Lovely place, lovely food and ambience. Love the jazz and it never disappoints! Very attentive staff, not cheap but value for money.

My husband and I went there on Saturday night to celebrate an anniversary. Having asked for a nice table before hand, we were seated at a secluded table, right next to an oversized open window looking out over Johannesburg. The decor is very elegant and slick, done in neutral tones. Waitrons are very attentive but inconspicuous.
Food was good and presented well - it isn't a rip off but neither is it particularly cheap.
There is a lovely jazz pianist and singer every night apparently, and they were a wonderful addition to the evening.
Would recommend the Salmon Tartar and the Trio of Creme Brulee.
