Very disappointing is all I can say! I purchased a voucher for a gourmet picnic and nothing about it was gourmet. The cheese platter was shocking with only 4 biscuits served on styrene plates and wrapped in cling wrap. It looked as if it was packaged for 5 year olds. The pies were disgustingand cold. The spinach quiche looked like someone first attempt at making pastry which failed horribly, and the filling was spinach mixed with white sauce and a blob of cheese on top! Rock hard as well. I've tasted better sandwich ham from the local grocer! The side green salad looked like it was made days prior already. The dessert was a square piece of cake supposedly brownies, but was so dry, and not even served with custard or ice cream. The kids hotdogs was drenched in the cheapest nastiest tomato sauce, that actually stained anything it came into contact with. Imagine what this does to the poor children's insides! I had read a bad review about their picinics previously and contacted the general manager who assured me that any issues was sorted out. If this is what sorted out looked like, I shudder to think what it was like previously! There was also a foul stench coming out of the kitchen the entire time we were there. It smelt as if something had died there. I will never ever go back there again, nor would I even recommend my enemies to go eat there. Really shocking food, and then to label it as gourmet! We should actually lay a complaint with the advertising standards body, as this was a blatant lie to the public.
