We were eager to try the new "burger joint" in town. Unfortunately it was a let down from start to finish. We waited almost 20 minutes for our drinks order. When it finally arrived we placed our food order. Please be aware that although they advertise mains as R70 this does NOT include a side portion of ANYTHING. We were informed that the kitchen was extremely busy and our food would take longer than usual. No problem waiting but what a let down when our "burgers" finally arrived. The Rockafella contained almost no pulled-pork and when we complained we were told by the manager that they rarely received any complaints?! The side orders of disco fries were cold and soggy. The presentation was horrible and my home cooked burgers looks more appetizing. We are spoilt for choice in Stellenbosch and I think Hudson's will struggle to keep up.
