Great night at Jerry's last night! We started with ribs and cheese bombs, which are, er, the bomb! Can you really go wrong with fried cheese balls? Portions are very generous - rib starter is, I thought, unnecessarily served with chips and could be a meal on its own. The little ribs themselves are fall-of-the-bone, lip-smacking good. We followed with burgers of course - our table had the Cheapskate, the Jerry and the After Burner - all right on the money. I was a bit worried that the burger would be a thick, dense patty (after reading that they don't put ANYTHING except beef into their burgers - no egg, no breadcrumbs etc), but it was anything but, with the perfect patty-to-bun ratio! The service was very friendly and well-timed in terms of food coming out of the kitchen, but drinks service was a bit on the patchy side - our wine only arrived after our starters (and only after we'd asked for it twice).
