After my third visit, trying to understand why the restaurant is popular, I still fail to see the logic. The steaks are great (if not a tad pricey), as are the seasonal vegetables, but the service is painfully slow, unattentive and they do not have stock of items offered on the menu. No oysters was the start to our experience, follow by R215 for a 200g steak with no sides (those cost extra), and then no ice cream in stock for desert. It took 55minutes for our steaks to arrive, and they were both underdone, but never the less, very tasty, and I would rate the meat as outstanding, but then no one bothered to top up our wine or. Clear our plates, which put a damper on our experience. After ordering the home made ice cream, it took 20 minutes before our waiter informed us they only had regular vanilla i e cream. Overall dissapointing, and this is the third poor experience we have had at this restaurant. Sadly for local grill this will be our last poor experience at the restaurant.
