Owner's description
A very stylish place, from the coffee bags (for sale) to the décor and cups. Surprisingly. the beans are not just from Africa but they are from Rainforest Alliance Farms, protecting farmers and the environment all the way to roasting. This is done here by Stil, named after the Stilfontein coffee estate in the east of Zimbabwe, from where the owner hails. Africblack with Stil is quite a big operation with a wholesale side as well.
They will also make up your very own special arabica blend. Winner baristas are trained here, so expect winner cappuccino but the pour-over of Ethiopian or Guatemalan is fantastic, punchy with flavour. They sell delightful breakfasts and light lunches, also really good iced cakes, some with coffee icing, and scones.
