An American actress told me about the Lefty's waffle with fried chicken and syrup, which made her long for home so much, and I honestly did not believe that I could ever stomach a dish like that, yet....I can't wait to return to order that dish again! Delicious, decadent and not a vitamin in sight - but hey, life is short! The ribs and burgers looked great too and there's a small selection of other interesting (and more healthy) dishes too, plus they serve Bitterballen (Dutch croquettes), which are not found on Cape Town menus very often (great ones at The Crypt Jazz Restaurant though). Prices are very reasonable. It's a 'local' with a great vibe, but it does get hectic and noisy, so go early if you're going for the food and not planning an all-nighter...
