This cozy restaurant have left the best impressions. Warm and friendly hosts, amazing food with beautiful presentation. Wide wine list and wonderful dessert. The ambience is very welcoming. All time favourite remains the Lamb Shank with Deep fried almond and cranberry Nougat for dessert. Well done guys

A precious gem found nestled snugly on the corner of Stanley Street, Muse certainly inspires the patron through creativity and. as it's name implies. Owned by a young, attentive couple, one can be assured of quality service and the atmosphere of personalization. The intimacy of the venue is heightened by minimalist design - exposed brick walls and only a few delicate tables neatly placed around the room. One would imagine such a chic restaurant to endorse exorbitant prices, not conducive to the middle-class South African, but this is not the case as the menu boasts a variety of meals ranging from more affordable pizzas and salads to more expensive meat dishes. Yet, the price is very competitive and certainly not a deterrent when the food is so hard to resist. The mouth-watering menu makes for a difficult decision and if I had it my way I'd eat a meal consisting of a spoonful of every single dish just to experience them all. And that's exactly what the food is, an experience! It is not simply a meal to be eaten, but rather a meal to be enjoyed and savored. The flavors fit together like perfect puzzle pieces and the presentation is otherworldly; my dish of choice is usually the beef short rib served on a bed of quinoa with a smoky jus. I will never tire of the dry-ice show that comes with the meal. The scent of fynbos gently wafting across the table and enhancing one's senses. This Heston Blumenthalesque style is worthy of Michelin stars. I cannot stress how wonderful it is to be able to order gluten and lactose free alternatives! Not only can this be ordered where it states so on the menu but the owner and chef will always do his utmost best to create an à la carte dish without specific ingredients. I do not like asking for special amendments to be made to my meals but it is so lovely to have the chef personally speak to the patrons and attend to their needs. Each dish is crafted to perfection, each ingredient cleverly chosen to compliment the other. This, alongside the ambiance of the restaurant itself makes for the most memorable meal you will ever be lucky enough to experience.

To say it was an incredible experience would be an understatement. The very knowledgeable waiter served with a smile, was quick and efficient. The food was the best we ever had at a restaurant, by far. The presentation was excellent. Even the dessert was brilliant. A taste experience of note. Will be back for more.

Muse is the best restaurant in Port Elizabeth. The food is always excellent and the desserts are not to be missed. I wish that I could start with dessert, they are that good! The chickpea fries, pork belly and the chocolate dessert are my all time favourites. A perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or just to enjoy a treat, Muse is always the best choice.
