Foxcroft is moving location: here’s what you need to know

CONSTANTIA NEK
Here’s a move that’s been brewing: Foxcroft, the Eat Out 2-star gem from the La Colombe stable, is packing up and heading to a new location. Come early 2026, you’ll find them perched at Constantia Nek Circle, trading their current High Constantia spot for what sounds like a spectacular setting.

Executive Chef Glen Williams has been candid about his ambitions for the restaurant, and this relocation feels like the natural next chapter. “While we have enjoyed our time at High Constantia, I have always wanted to get Foxcroft into a space with a view, whether it be on a farm or freestanding. Our lease was coming up for renewal, and it just lined up perfectly with this opportunity at Constantia Nek. The building is a southern suburbs landmark, and it lends itself perfectly to the direction we are headed in.”

The new Foxcroft promises to deliver those iconic sweeping Constantia Valley vistas, paired with what Glen describes as a menu with “a touch more flair” than their current offering. It’s the kind of upgrade that signals serious intent. Glen is using the move as an opportunity to refine Foxcroft’s identity, something that’s clearly been on his mind for some time.

“We have always been in this grey area between casual and fine dining. So, we are taking this opportunity to split the difference and take Foxcroft a step up into a more refined and intimate experience, befitting the view towards False Bay on the east face of the building. Then we have a more casual offering planned for the other side of the building – more news on that to come soon!”

The philosophy, thankfully, isn’t changing. Glen confirms that “we will still cook within our global style, with thoughtful intent toward other cultures, and unabashed focus on flavour. The smaller dining room and single menu offering allows us to increase our focus on detail, with some beautiful bespoke service-ware, slightly more involved and personal service, and most importantly the ability to express ourselves more on the plate.”

The team structure is evolving slightly, too, with Glen and head chef Dale Mouton still leading the charge, while Van Zyl Van der Merwe from The Waterside Restaurant joins the fold. Carlo Stevens will continue to oversee the beverage program – good news for anyone who’s experienced his incredible cocktails!

If you’ve been meaning to visit the current Foxcroft, you’ve got until 15 January. Bookings for the new location will open on 1 February 2026 (however, they may open slightly earlier than that – so stay tuned to their socials for updates!).
