8 To Go at Spier

We visited 8 on 22nd April while we visited the Cape for a week. We decided to stop for lunch even though the prices were very high for the various offerings. We ordered a board which was cheese, salami slices, some cold meats and some greens. two pieces of your home made bread with butter packs and a little marinated cucumber. At R150 it was extremely disappointing and way over price for what is was. The cheese was a few small pieces of ordinary camembert and a few small cubes of a yellow cheese. There was little on the board that warranted that price. I am a diabetic and normally order a Coke Zero or Light but your shop had no sugar free drinks at all so I settled for water. Not value for money at all .
