We chose Giovanni's at Eikendal as our restaurant for our anniversary in May. We were not disappointed on any account. I ate the Con Funghi Risotto which was made to utter perfection with just the amount of light flavour with a great quality olive oil, and my partner chose the 300g fillet to be prepared rare and said it was the softest cut of meat he had ever consumed. The port reduction sauce was prepared to perfection and the Eikendal wine we selected (Reserve Range Charisma) managed to compliment both our meals perfectly. We were given our desserts on the house and chose the Avocado Meringue. This is not to be missed and is life altering (if Avo is your thing) We will be returning here, without a doubt!
