I was a regular at Takumi, Papa San's second restaurant (after Minato) - I'm afraid not he has stretched himself thin... The quality of the food (sushi) is not up to scratch! The sushi was scruffily made, the ramen unauthentic, and my firm favorite - the Nasu Miso (Aubergine) not half as good as they made it at Takumi - the pieces of Aubergine are huge and the stickiness of the miso is lacking! The service was slow - we waited ages after our 'sushi' arrived for Wasabi and ginger. I'm scrapping Obi off my list, I know where to find better ramen and BETTER sushi in Cape Town!
