Although not a frequent diner at Pigalle, it was once one of my absolute favourite restaurants. I always left there beaming from ear to ear but I am sad to say I will not return.

I had completely forgotten that I have been expecting a call from them to resolve a problem I had when dining there some months back now. The reviews on this website just jogged my memory. We had dinner at Pigalle late one evening and we did not eat much as we had a heavy lunch. I left half of my duck on my plate and requested a doggy-bag. My partner just nibbled on the outer part of his meat. The next morning when I checked the doggy-bag I found that my duck was missing and my parter's meat was almost entirely raw.

I called Pigalle the very next day and they were closed but whomever answered the phone promised me that someone would return my call in the week. After hearing nothing for a week I called again and was again assured that someone would call me in the week... Well, I'm still waiting.

A restaurant with an excellent reputation like Pigalle's would do good to deliver the same level of service to customers after they walk out the doors or they may never return.
