Beautiful setting along the vaal very popular yet very elite love the food and service was great

Me and my wife had an opportunity to stay a weekend at the La Grande Evasion boutique hotel in November 2016. We had our meals at the bistro and was really spoiled. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was outstanding. One of our meals was during the time a company was having their year-end function. Although our order took longer than usual, we were often updated on the progress. The menu is unique (French styled) and all our meals were of great quality. The Pont de Val labeled craft beer is also impressive and very tasty. The bistro is exquisite and we were impressed by it. The buildings, terraces and environment is quite unique but it's the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff that made the biggest impression. Definitely our favorite restaurant to get spoiled.

Experienced a "La Grandé evasion" truly a great escape out of the rush and great value for money.

What an Awesome experience, we will definitely go back to Pont De Val Riverside Bistro,
