Tikka palace is a gem in the heart of hermanus. Clearly a reasturant built around passion with hospitable staff. What an authentic experience. My family and I thourougly enjoyed our visit. After a long day in a community that is not halal friendly what a breathe of fresh air to find tikka palace where there is something for everyone to enjoy. I highly recommend the mago lassie to quench your thirst after a long historical visit in hermanus every dish on the menu is cooked to perfection. there is something for everyone. If only they delivered to Cape Town.

This place has deteriorated significantly of late. Poor service, poor fading decor, dirty menu's. The prices have increased, but the portion sizes and quality has decreased. On a different review website, a question was answered by a restaurant representative to say that you are allowed to bring your own alcohol in to the premises. Therefore not sure whether they are still halaal or not. Give this one a miss.

What a magical find! We came across Tikka Palace on a hunt for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant was very quiet and had we have been in a more festive mood, we may have moved on. Thankfully, a peaceful candlelit atmosphere was exactly what we were in the mood for and our friendly waiter guided us to a corner table. Every morsel of naan bread, butter chicken, tikka chicken and jasmine rice was licked out of the beautiful crockery! The efficient service, rich flavors and authentic tastes of India left us excited for our return visit - a table of 6 perhaps, so that more dishes can be experienced and savoured! If you are in Hermanus, Tikka Palace is your tastebuds' go-to destination!
