The return of the tomato tart

Famously voted as one of the New York Times 10 Things to Eat before you die, Savoy Cabbages tomato tart has finally made a much anticipated comeback.

The restaurant announced they are confident  that the quality of tomatoes have improved enough to bring back the celebrated tart.

Selling at R65.00, it graces the restaurants current starter menu alongside other seasonally inspired creations such as Hazelnut-crusted Goats’ Cheese with Fresh Berries and a Raspberry Vinaigrette, or Grilled Asparagus Salad with Citrus Mayonnaise.

For the busy summer season, the restaurant extends its hours to include Sundays. Join them for Christmas Eve or New years eve as they celebrate these special days with specifically designed seasonal menus.
