Food:

This restaurant’s Italian cuisine is well known on the coast. The linguine in white wine sauce with fennel and mussels is of particular interest, and the pavlova dessert with passion fruit, lemon grass syrup and citrus pieces is exceptionally good.

Wine:

The list is varied so choice is not an issue; however, wine by the glass is quite steep. It’s wonderful to see a selection of newer wineries represented.

Service:

Bookings are taken efficiently and service is competent.

Ambience:

A mixture of colonial, African and Mediterranean décor, Trattoria’s best feature lies in its prime location right on the water’s edge. Get a table outside and watch the sun go down.
