The setting is fantastic. Unfortunately the prices and the food brings it down. When you order marrow bones for starters, they are ice cold in the inside. The manager then brings you a pathetic little salad to make up, and a new marrow bone that is also still frozen inside. When you order a baby chicken from the menu for R90 or so, you get a tiny leg and thigh, 3 baby potatoes and I can't remember what the other tiny thing was, but obviously it made no difference. Ice cream and chocolate sauce is two scoops and a drop of chocolate. The prices for what you get is pathetic to say the least! Its a rip off! (Oh, the wine was great thanks).
