Jakes in the Village

We chose Jakes for our new Years evening. The service was shocking as our waitress was not to be found most of the evening. Our main meal came two hours after our starter and mine was over cooked and my partners was half the size of anybody else's. He went to complain to management who basically shrugged him off and told him he was lying when he insisted his steak was way smaller than it should of been. There was no compensation in any way or apology. I then e mailed the owner and after a week of no reply called to speak to him three times but he never bothered to call me back. I find this appalling. Our new years eve was ruined by this. I finally received my main meal at 11 45 p.m. Real pity about this as we will not go back now.
