Visiting Meraki is a respite from the craziness + demands of life. You walk into a beautiful Scandi-inspired space, perfectly balanced with touches of greenery + colour which makes one want to snuggle up with a cup of Legado coffee + never ever leave. Friendly + attentive staff contributes to a wonderful dining experience. The menu changes seasonally + only the freshest produce is used to prepare flavourful + aesthethically pleasing dishes. You can take your pick between scrumptious breakfasts, delicious sandwiches and inventive salads (in winter keep an eye out for soups to die for!!!). Portions are generous + attention is paid to detail - the beauty of Meraki is that the foods tastes as good as it looks. The sweet treats are a highpoint all by itself. A big variety of cakes (gluten free options included) are displayed in a beautiful glass case - rivalling any French pastry shop. Spoiled for choice, with every cake/pastry/cookie better more delectable than the next - you might want to order more than one and share - as it is just so hard choosing only 1!!! Meraki has become a beacon of happiness + delight in the hustle + busy of Stellenbosch and one can almost not remember what life was like before their doors were opened.
