It was on the 31st of July 2008, my Birthday. My partner went to great lengths to arrange for a memorable evening and Auberge Michel was supposed to be the highlight, so one can imagine my dissapointment with the quality of food. I ordered the crab ravioli and my partner had the goats cheese for starters and then we had the crusted beef fillet and the duck for mains. the ravioli was lukewarm when it arrived, the sauce was thin and tasted of nothing and the crab filling very salty. My partners goats cheese was also nothing special. The beef fillet was perfectly cooked but again you couldnt even taste the herb crust. The duck had a strange colour to it, not to mention the watery thin sauces that accompanied these dishes. I could have combined a better cheese platter myself and the desert was a mediocre chocolate mouse. The service was excellent though, my partner forgot his glasses in the car and they privided him with a box full to choose from!
