Unless their cheesecake has changed since August, I am not sure what Katharine Jacobs (Critic) is talking about. I went there last month and it is by far the best cheesecake I have had - and I opt for cheesecake as my dessert option every time I eat out. The cheesecake looks dense and rich, like you would expect most cheesecakes to be but it is the contrary. It is light, not too sweet and still has the same taste and texture as any other cheesecake. You basically leave without feeling guilty or overly indulged. I would seriously just pop in at The Deckhouse for some cheesecake at tea time.
