Great steaks is what they are known for. Their salads are good as is everything else on the menu. I do recommend the steaks with a good sauce on the side. Not too expensive to treat yourself...
Amazing food. Loved the vibe. The NEW owners are the best. Thank you for my wonderful experience
Great food, reasonable priced. Great service. New owners are doing a brilliant job. Keep it up.
My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We odered the Meze platter 1 which cost R190. I asked the waiter about the portions and he assured us that it was more than enough for two adults. What we received was to say the least horribly disappointing. The menu described the platter as having samoosas, boere wors chicken strips, cheese pies and chips. What we received was 5 small cuts of boere wors in total maybe half a piece of a normal sized portion, 6 very dry and small pieces of chicken, four small samoosas each no bigger than the size of a R5 coin, two processed cheese filled cheese pies and chips. I called the manager and complained about the food and he agreed that it was over priced and that there have been many complaints about the quality and quantity of the platters? Why then offer it on the menu? I left the restaurant hungry feeling badly ripped off!
On the weekend, my partner and I went to Steak Inn for a "enjoyable night out", however we were highly disappointed in the service and food we were served. Initially, the atmosphere was pleasant and we were shown into our own booth. We noticed how quiet it was for a Saturday night, but thought nothing of it. However, then when our food arrived we soon realised that it was of an unacceptable standard. If a restaurant claims to specialise in steak, in my opinion, should then indeed specialise in it. Especially when 'awards' are bragged about though out the restaurant. Both our meals were charcoal on the outside and completely raw inside. This is not how a "MEDIUM" steak should be. When the waiter finally came to check on us, I sent my steak back to the kitchen only for it to be returned to the table a few minutes later, without any apology. The manager also was incredibly sarcastic and in our opinion, this is not how customers should be treated. Perhaps this was why the restaurant had so few patrons. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.
