Great for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Despite it being a chain, they ensure that each boutique eatery has its own uniqueness. The environment is buzzing, but relaxed. Create your own sandwich on either ciabatta, rye or a baguette and top it with your selection of fillings. A wide variety of salads, pastas and intriguing dishes will please the majority as well as vegetarians. (EO mag 2014)
The menu is diverse (pasta is listed alongside lamb cutlets, designer salads, quesadillas and Turkish flatbreads) and yet the establishment has become known for great food that keeps people returning time and again. This outlet has the same menu that made all the other branches famous, but includes its own specials like salmon in various guises (ceviche, tartare, carpaccio) as well as soft-shell crab served with creamy mayo. They do some of the best breakfasts in town: try the potato rösti topped with bacon, roasted baby tomatoes, rocket and a poached egg. The emphasis is on healthy options like freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, fresh herbs and organic eggs.
A good and compact wine list, as well as classic cocktails and champers by the glass.
Efficient and friendly.
A breezy, neutral-coloured palette is offset by marble accents and feature chandeliers with hanging cutlery. Great toilets, too.
The cappuccinos are among the best in town. (JW, October 2011)
I have yet to complain about Tasha's. I've been a handful of times already and have not yet had anything to complain about! Took my brother out there for his birthday on Saturday, 26th Apr and had a few special requests at the last minute....and my requests were met with pleasure. David, the store/floor Manager, went the extra mile with a complimentary drink on top of my requests. Don't get me wrong i wasn't chaffed with the free drink, i was impressed that he remembered my brother doesn't drink alcohol and made sure the drink was alcohol free:))))). Appreciate when folks pay attention to what you say. Further more, the food was tantalizing and the atmosphere made us spend the entire afternoon there. Well done David and well done Tashas - Melrose Arch. I will be back this Sunday with some friends:)))))
Tashas never disappoints, Efficient and friendly service coupled with delicious meals and cocktails! We had the beef Wellington (done to perfection as always) and the pork spare ribs which were covered in the juiciest, finger-licking marinade. They have added new dishes to their menu so there is always something to tickle every palette.
What a shocker of a Saturday morning, 5 coffees all arriving 5 minutes after each other and the breakfast taking close on a hour to come out with 3 of the 5 incorrect. A big let down from what is normally a great place to visit, Melrose Arch Tasha's needs a service overhaul.
Shocking shocking shocking! I live in Paris and just called the restaurant to make a reservation for myself and 16 friends on Saturday evening. They refused to help me and told me that I must arrive at 6pm to get a table or else if the restaurant is busy, I would need "to wait on the queue" along with my 16 friends. Shocked!
Phew what a mighty disappointing afternoon service wise! From the door to the floor! Sunday afternoon you really can tell when the cat's away here, the rats come out and screw it all up. At these premiums it's inexcusable - it's not our problem that there's a shift change blah blah blah... Food still a winner though! Will come back during patrol time.
You are missing out, Wilma! Tasha's Melrose Arch remains the best - we've had everything on the menu. Highlights, salmon fish cakes; sticky ribs; creamy mushroom breakfast.....the list goes on! Keep it up, guys!
Fantastic ambience, chic inspired decor, attentive but unintrusive service. Kudos to Natasha! By the way, I've tried everything, so I hope flattery will get me a job at your lovely establishment .Cheers!
Sucks that you advertise a number but then don't take reservations. Don't waste people's money to let them call simply to tell them it is first come first serve. I will not support you out of principle.
