I have only had very good experiences at Walkhaven. Friendly service from the waiters. Food is average - limited menu, but the again, it is a dog park and is not advertised as "fine dining". Very affordable meals and lovely laid back ambience.

A dog owner's delight, Walkhaven Dog Park was created to provide your furry friends with a safe and beautiful place to run, swim and play. Situated on 22 hectares of grassland, Walkhaven offers a large dam, braai and picnic facilities. The Walkhaven Kitchen is a welcome stop after all the exercise, offering tasty breakfasts and light lunches.

What a disappointing experience. I met the owner and she told me to put my dogs on a leash because they barked at the waiter. They didn't attack or be vicious, they just barked. The owner also told that she doesn't need my business so clearly this is NOT a "dog friendly" place but just a big piece of land where the owners charge an entrance fee and still expect you to have your dogs on a leash.
Good luck to you and your establishment . I and my friends will never frequent it again.

Hi, On Sunday the service was bad as a lady serving gave a menu to me, did not want to wait for my order and took ages to come back. I left as my dogs and myself were starving.
