We were four people for dinner. I have wanted to eat there for years and eventually got there with great excitement. The biggest disappointment in any restaurant ever! Absolute shocking! On arrival we received Boplaas ruby port for an aperitif..... have you ever! Paid R66 for the scallop starter (for 3 of us) consisting of 3 fossil scallops each on a bed of noodles that were hard, dry and tasted old. The scallops varied in size - from my small finger nail to my thumb nail. Also dry and tasteless. Expected better after waiting more than 90min for it! We did complain but nobody came forth to discuss it. No manager, no owner! The rack of lamb (recommended by waitress) consisted of two thinly sliced fatty chops with hardly any meat on it. The vegetables on the side (extra) consisted of purity-like pumpkin, tasteless/cold spinach and shredded raw-ish cabbage. The sirloin came to the table blue and cold after a med/rare was ordered. The best of the evening was the hand cut potato chips which saved me from starvation. The other three had to go home and fill up on a huge bowl of ice cream. We couldnt wait to get out of there. I filled in a comment card but four days later and still no reply. NEVER AGAIN!
