The Mont Marie restaurant nestled amongs the green vineyards and embracing mountains on Blaauwklippen road, just outside of Stellenbosch, is a MUST for the food connoisseur! The welcoming staff and Chef Pieter Vlok's vibrant hands-on chefs are commendable, plus the views from the deck are immaculate! The breakfast menu offers a variety of superb options and a special treat and I think popular item is the eggs hollandaise-something worth killing for! Lunch offers a super selection of tasty meals....perfect portion size, sensational taste on the palate and beautiful presentation-perfection on every plate! A supberb selection of fine cuisine! A special treat is undoubtedly the steaks which are matured and served with whatever is in season at the moment. Fish is collected daily from Gordons' Bay and is equally well prepared with a delicate taste and texture. This hidden jewel warrants a visit if nouvelle cuisine is your choice. You simply must experience this gastronomic adventure for your tastebuds. The wine list and service of the staff makes the experience even more pleasant-being perfect. A big plus is the kiddies menu that caters for the young ones and whilst parents can enjoy the view, the awesome jungle gym caters for the little ones
