EAT OUT EXCLUSIVE: The Pot Luck Club is taking its magic to London

One of South Africa’s most celebrated restaurant brands is crossing continents this August. The Pot Luck Club will open a three-month pop-up at The Waldorf Hilton in London’s prestigious Covent Garden, bringing its globally inspired small-plates philosophy to the heart of the city’s theatre district.

Since opening at the Old Biscuit Mill in 2012, Luke Dale Roberts’ restaurant has become synonymous with bold, punchy flavours and a fun and distinctive cocktail culture. Under Executive Chef Jason Kosmas’ leadership, the kitchen has evolved into a powerhouse of technique-driven creativity, delivering playful menus filled with surprises – from dry-aged fish to charcoal-fired dishes finished with complex, lip-smacking sauces.

Operating from Homage, the hotel’s flagship dining room, the pop-up will serve dinner daily from 5pm – 10pm. Diners can without doubt expect signature dishes like the smoked beef fillet with truffle café au lait sauce, springbok tataki and the legendary fish tacos.
