Vibey Bree Street is now home to a new restaurant in the heart of Cape Town – The Royal Oyster Bar.

The lively new spot has cute oyster shaped tables where you can watch live sports or simply unwind after a long day! In keeping with the oyster bar theme, they’ve got an impressive selection of oysters available – from Champagne oysters to Saldanha Bay oysters to Giant oysters, all served fresh with a condiment of your choice – the world really is your oyster!

The menu doesn’t just stop at oysters though, the restaurant is open early for breakfast all the way through to dinner and they’ve also got some seriously good cocktails on offer.

Breakfast dishes range from oysters served with buttered brioche and bubbly to good old eggs Benedict. The lunch and dinner menu has an outstanding selection of starters, fish, meat and vegetarian options. There really is a little something for all tastes!

They’re all about honest, real food done simply but well. Add an oyster or two with a glass of MCC and a side of good company. What more could really want?

They’re open from 8:30 to 23:00, Monday to Saturday – drop by for an oyster, bubbly and some good vibes!
