Eat Out star restaurant, Rykaart’s in Stellenbosch, is moving. The team took to social media to announce that the restaurant will relocate to one of Stellenbosch’s most established wine farms, Longridge Wine Estate.

Alex and Ella Rykaart, the masterminds behind the eponymous eatery, share a profound passion for hospitality. Their journey began with stints at some of the most renowned restaurants within the Cape Winelands. The culmination of their experiences, dreams, and expertise manifested in the form of their own restaurant in the heart of Stellenbosch in 2021.

Their dedication bore fruit early on, garnering them a coveted star at the Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards in 2022. When the opportunity to expand and introduce a fresh concept emerged, the pair, accompanied by their bundle of joy, baby Lara, made the decision to move to the picturesque Longridge.

Alex and Ella convey their enthusiasm, saying, “We are excited to welcome our regular diners and new guests to our home on Longridge Wine Estate. Serving family-style meals paired with beautiful wines – we are proud to offer this very special culinary experience.”

While an exact date is yet to be confirmed, mid-September holds the promise of unveiling the doors to Rykaart’s at Longridge Wine Estate.
