Grand Pavilion (Sea Point)

Grand Pavilion offers a beach-style atmosphere paired with a contemporary menu offering, and they will be hosting a Gatsby-themed New Year’s Eve event. Get into the spirit of the Roaring Twenties and enjoy a four-course meal at Grand Pavilion for R1,800 per person.

Radisson Red (V&A Waterfront)

Situated in the Silo District, Radisson Red will be hosting an all-inclusive New Year’s Eve event for the whole family. There will be entertainment areas for the kids, including an arcade, a movie night space and a buffet-style corner for the little ones at R200 per person. Meanwhile, parents can kick back with a three-course meal at R450 per person with music and a drink upon arrival. The event starts at 6pm. For those wanting to dance to the music and celebrate with city skyline views, Radisson Red will also be hosting a rooftop New Year’s Eve event. Tickets cost R1,250 per person and include bubbles, a feast board and live entertainment.

The Conservatory (Constantia)

The Cellars-Hohenort is hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner at The Conservatory restaurant. Tickets cost R995 per person and include a three-course meal with various options such as grain-fed beef fillet and Thai curry poached line-caught fish. In addition, there is a vegetarian menu available at R885 per person. Bookings can be made online.

Upstairs at Quay Four (V&A Waterfront)

Countdown to the start of the new year at Upstairs at Quay Four, a seafood restaurant located at the V&A Waterfront. The event includes a delicious four-course meal with live entertainment. Bookings are essential and the event costs R795 per person.

Mitchell’s Scottish Ale House (V&A Waterfront)

Start the night off with a glass of Durbanville Hills bubbly at Michell’s Scottish Ale House’s New Year’s Eve event. Enjoy a three-course meal for R495 per person.

Hyatt Regency Hotel (City Bowl)

Ring in the new year at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cape Town after enjoying a delicious six-course plated dinner and live acoustic entertainment. The dinner starts at 7.30pm and ends at 11pm, and costs R1,450 per person.

COPA Restaurant (City Bowl)

Spend New Year’s Eve with the whole family at the Pepperclub Hotel’s dinner. An eight-course menu is on offer for R1,150 per adult and R425 for kids aged between 2 and 12 years at the COPA restaurant.

Avontuur Estate Restaurant (Somerset West)

Avontuur Estate Restaurant, located in the Cape Winelands, is hosting a sparkling New Year’s Eve event. Dance to a live Latin band performance at Avontuur Restaurant and savour a three-course meal at R650 per person and R100 per child. The dress code is a touch of sparkle.

The Eatery & Wine Bar at Silver Forest Lodge (Somerset West)

The Eatery & Wine Bar is hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner, which includes four courses, canapés and bubbles on arrival to welcome the start of 2022. Tickets cost R595 per person and prizes will be up for grabs during the event.
