Ivor Jones, the Eat Out S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna Chefs’ Chef for 2025, will team up with long-time friend and fellow chef Wesley Randles of star restaurant Nevermind for “Where The Wild Things Are” – a raw and honest one-night-only dinner at Chefs Warehouse Beau Constantia. The meal is rooted in a shared respect for the land, ingredients and the people who gather to eat. Shaped by a two-day hunt in the Elands River Valley, the collaboration brings together Wesley’s grounded, wood-fired philosophy and Ivor’s instinctive, globe-roaming approach in an eight-course tasting menu. The experience can be complemented by an optional wine pairing, and all profits will be donated to The Reach For A Dream Foundation.

Celebrated chef and former Eat Out chief judge Margot Janse will join forces with Ryan Cole for a special one-night-only eight-course collaboration at three-star restaurant and Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant of the Year Salsify at the Roundhouse. The evening promises nostalgic flavours reimagined through refined technique and thoughtful storytelling. Adding profound meaning to the collaboration, all profits from the evening will be donated to Isabelo, an organisation, founded by Margot, that provides 1 500 daily meals to schoolchildren in Franschhoek.

Schlechter will be working with the Fledgelings in the lead-up to the event, teaching cocktail-making techniques alongside the CAUSE | EFFECT cocktail kitchen team. Luke Dale Roberts and Executive Chef Carla Schulze will host an unprecedented once-in-a-lifetime dinner at two-star restaurant Salon with acclaimed Stellenbosch estate De Toren, featuring an extraordinary vertical tasting of the estate’s most historic vintages, some of which may never be opened again. The exclusive evening will showcase a six-course dinner, where each dish is thoughtfully prepared to complement the character and story of the historic wines drawn from De Toren’s private library. This includes bottles no longer available to the public. All three De Toren winemakers, past and present – Albie Koch, Charles Williams and Martin Fourie – will host the evening together, with each presenting their respective maiden vintage that they personally crafted, creating a rare opportunity to engage with three generations of winemaking talent on one extraordinary night.

The two chefs, who have long respected one another’s work and share an affinity for shining a spotlight on often-overlooked indigenous ingredients, will present a seven-course menu that takes diners on a culinary journey across the east and west coasts of the country. This collaboration combines Johannes’s hyper-sustainable ethos with Sebastian’s innovative approach. The evening’s wine pairings will be expertly curated by the restaurants’ respective sommeliers – Jennifer Hugé from Beyond and Johanna Richter from The LivingRoom at Summerhill Guest Estate.

Chef Matt van den Berg of Eat Out two-star restaurant MERTIA, winner of the 2025 Eat Out Woolworths Financial Services Service Excellence Award, and chef-owner Shaun Scrooby of VUUR in Stellenbosch are creating a moveable feast like no other. Heritage Farm Feast is a rare collaboration between Nieuwe Sion Estate, VUUR and MERTIA. It features a continuous flow of braai-inspired dishes that guests can enjoy while wandering through the estate.
