It’s the One&Only’s first birthday

Join the One&Only Cape Town in celebrating its first birthday with a festival of flavours from 16 to 18 April 2010.

The party will kick off on the Friday with a tutored tasting presented by four of Europe’s top wine-makers. The tasting will be followed by a dinner with celebrated Japanese sushi master Nobu Matsuhisa. His six-course Omakase menu will be paired with thirteen different wines.

On the Saturday, South African wine expert Michael Fridjhon will co-host a lunch at Nobu with Evelyne de Pontbriand, President of the Savennieres Appellation in the Loire and proprietor of Domaine de Closel.

Later that day, guests can also enjoy a five-course dinner at Maze paired with some of the world’s most sought-after wines. Michael Fridjhon will once again host the evening, along with Simon Tam from the International Wine Centre in Hong Kong.

A Sunday brunch at Maze hosted by Michael Fridjhon and world-renowned bubbly authority Dr Tony Jordan will round off the weekend’s festivities.
