Food

The menu at The Green Goose Eatery is filled with classic dishes, with a global twist of flavours. The menu features a number of flavorful combinations, such as potato gnocchi served with peas, ricotta and lemon; and the poisson cru, which is yellowtail served with fresh ingredients like coconut, cucumber and lime. The squid arancini balls, paired with crispy squid and chorizo, and the ‘KFC’ – crisp chicken wings in a Cape Malay inspired sauce – are must-try starters.

The vegetarian options are limited at The Green Goose Eatery, but one good option is the barley risotto. The Mediterranean flavours are harmonious and the risotto is creamy, featuring aubergine, dukkha spice and crispy kale. The mains dishes are rather sizable and offer great value for money. The delectable creamy prawn mac ‘n cheese is a must-have when visiting. Full of prawn meat and rich in flavor, the mac ‘n cheese is topped off with a herb crust, giving it a lovely texture.

The dessert menu is designed to satisfy those with a sweet tooth. The lemon-berry choux buns are filled with lemon curd and served with meringue, popping candy and a rather raspberry purée. The brilliant take on the classic panna cotta is a velvety coconut-and-lemongrass duo served with fruit salsa and crunchy macadamia brittle.
