The roasted bone marrow makes for an incredible starter, served with a fresh and acidic salsa and ciabatta bread. Other starters include loaded fries with pulled pork, corn salsa and beans.

A wooden board of 30-day dry-aged steak cuts are brought to each table and knowledgeably described by the waiters. The more familiar wet-aged steaks like sirloin, fillet and rump are served basted or not, but the sheer brazenness of the dry-aged display makes choosing the flat iron, spider or extraordinary tomahawk steak nearly impossible to resist. For maximum flavour, your waiter will boldly advise exactly how your steak should be grilled, and he’ll be right. Trust him!

The homemade basting of chutney, tomato and Worcester sauce leaves a shiny gleam on the perfectly grilled sirloin served with wholegrain mustard and a green herb relish. The pulled pork burger is served with real pomp and splendour, showing off the purple cabbage slaw, thickly sliced jalapeños and crispy fried kale (a savoury green masterpiece). Sides range from impeccably crispy hand-cut chips and battered onion rings to crushed potatoes and tempura corn on the cob.

The Turkish delight white chocolate cheesecake will win your heart if the naartjie malva pudding doesn’t get you first. Your sweet tooth will be sated.

An extensive list of local wines, craft gins, craft beers and cocktails will liven up your protein-rich party. The proudly local mantra rings true throughout the menu.

Warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone is dressed in ostentatious steampunk leather garb and seem to be having just as much fun as the diners do.

The booth-style seating, café-style tables and steel tractor bar stools mean there’s a perfect seat for everyone. You’ll feel emboldened by the edgy, eclectic party vibes.
