Tapas, wine and all that jazz

A lazy late-summer afternoon with your favourite people. A beautiful setting, beautiful music and yes, beautiful wine and snacks. What could be better? Not much really, which is why we’re thankful for the good people at Hartenberg for introducing their jazz and tapas evenings this February.

In the picturesque Stellenbosch winelands, the rolling lawns of Hartenberg offer the ideal setting to enjoy gourmet snacks and some fine wines. Tapas platters include a selection of cheeses, charcuterie, homemade terrine, crudités, pickles, roasted vegetables and snoek pate. As for the jazz part, well, the popular jazz quintet, Cape Dutch Connection, will keep you entertained, along with a number of other live jazz bands and some gypsy swing by Manouche.

Hartenberg’s jazz and tapas evenings will begin on Saturday 12 February 2011 and will run from 17:00 to 20:00. Tickets cost R150 per couple and include a complimentary bottle of Hartenberg wine. Tapas platters are available from R35 to R80.

Hartenberg is giving one lucky couple the opportunity to win an evening of jazz and tapas worth R600! To enter, click here
