I just wanted to lay an official complaint about JB’s Corner in Melrose Arch. It is with great sadness that I do so as JB’s used to be one of my favourite restaurants in the Arch. JB’s was well known for their large portions and great tasting foods, especially the burgers. Recently, I noticed that the menu had undergone a restructure. Usually you’d expect that this would mean that the restaurant would come out “new and improved”, However, I was rather devastated to see that all the portions were reduced and the prices went up by almost 30%! The Retro burger was scratched from the Menu and replaced with pathetic tiny burgers! Plus they cost more. The breakfasts have also been cut in half and cost ridiculous amounts! The presentation of the food has also been appalling when being delivered.
My Company, Global Trader, have many loyal JB fans that used to order breakfasts and lunches almost on a daily basis.
But many of us have come to a general consensus that JB’s Menu has been very disappointing!
I hope that you will look at this complaint as constructive criticism and consider what is best for your customers, and not base your future approaches on “how much money you can make”.
I can definitely say that I will not be ordering from JB’s and will also encourage my colleagues to do the same until JB’s undergoes “customer orientated” restructure
