Owner's description

Cafe du Metro is Paris style deli. There is a beautiful sheltered deck and courtyard for the kids. Situated at the French Courtyard on the Main Road, this deli is great for a lunch break on a day out in Muizenberg, with fine French bread, real butter pastries, delicious cheeses, tasty soups and some special bistro dishes on offer. All food is locally sourced, free-range and organic where possible. Herbs are grown in the restaurant garden, bread is baked every morning and the Truth coffee is sublime.

    I eat here all the time. The food is delicious and the chef is very accommodating if you want something different. Don't miss the deli which has everything you normally buy at the food markets.
