"There is something profoundly satisfying about sharing a meal. Eating together, breaking bread together, is one of the oldest and most fundamentally unifying of human experiences" so said a wise person! Carlucci's is the epitome of chilled deli style vibes , menu focusing on freshly made sandwiches, salads, and breakfasts. It was packed when I arrived and I plonked myself at the bar and made it clear that I wanted to be moved to a table facing the mountain as soon as one became available , otherwise what's the point of being in Table View if you can't see the mountain! I had the scrambled egg, mushroom, feta , tomato on a bagel. It was so massive that I had to take it home and so it became my lunch.  I must admit that I was a big sad that they had ran out of croissants which were my first option. My friend Eunice ordered the bagel ,salmon, avo and cream cheese sammie which she raved about. I trust Eunice so I believe her. The waiters are friendly, perhaps a little too overfriendly but then I'm friendly and funny so people tend to become a bit overly familiar with me. So we will write off the over friendliness to that. It could always be the other way round! So friendly we take! If you are the convient healthy food foodie and looking for fine ready-made meals and salads to your convenience without compromising on the quality and health aspect then this is your spot! Carluccis is a rip off. R17 for a 350ml Peroni and R27 for 500ml - how stupid do they think their guests are?
