Home away from home. Walked into Doppio after being away for a couple of months, it’s so nice to be greeted by Innocent, who after all this time still remembers our favorite orders and our names. Good food. Great vibe. Excellent service.

We came back after several years to this buzzing eatery in Irene and loved it. The ambience is warm and inviting; buzzing with energy. The food was exceptionally well prepared. My Sirloin was perfectly cooked with rich flavours emanating from the delicate chimichurri sauce and veggies. Our waiter, Mercy, was a delight. She suggested the Hartenberg wine which proved to have been the perfect pairing. Mercy was friendly and attentive without being all over us; lurking discreetly in the wings, but available when we needed her. Look after this gem!
