This relatively new, owner-run restaurant found in quiet courtyard, transports you to the East in a moment with its’ hip tiger print wallpaper, and Asian-inspired décor, complete with a tiny curtained private dining room for an intimate experience.
Described as Asian fusion, the portions are generous, colourful and bursting with flavour. The menu is concise, but everything is made fresh to order in a small open kitchen that takes centre stage. Start your meal with steamed dim sum – chicken, water chestnut and spring onion; prawn and bamboo shoots or tofu, mung bean and goats cheese. Not-to-be-missed on the menu is the Chef’s Asian Ribs and the Teriyaki Bowls. Desserts vary daily, but place your order early, as this could be sold out by the end of your meal.
Currently not licensed, but the menu includes a variety of cold drinks like virgin gin and tonic, ice teas, ginger beers and coffees/teas. Guest are invited to bring their own wine and not charged corkage.
