Situated in the Willowbridge Lifestyle Centre in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, the Hussar Grill is renowned for being one of the best restaurant in Durbanville. The restaurant's interior takes its cue from the trademark Hussar Grill design - a traditional grill room combined with old-school dining. It offers a light and airy outdoor seating area overlooking the green belt of the Elsiekraal River. You can dine there al fresco style in warmer weather or you can enjoy the comfort and relaxed atmosphere of the indoor dining section. The Hussar Grill Willowbridge is situated close to the Barnyard Theatre and is therefore an ideal venue for pre or post-show dinner.

Fillet on the bone was disappointing...too much pepper on the pepper crusting and small pieces slightly too matured ( slightly off ) Veggies okay but nothing special. Onion rings average. Mushrooms great and tasty. Creme Brule was shocking, typical Bidvest badly missed dessert. Over all a little disappointing, however might be back, did have great food in the past. Perhaps a poor night at Hussar.

Excellent food Love the calamari ,peri-peri chicken livers, hog ribs ,Hollandse steak, steak with superb bearniase sause. Steaks done perfectly Service excellent. Desserts to die for with chocolate vodca martini top of the list. A regular favourite restaurant for us. PS : To Mr Wiggins who posted TWO bad reviews ,even on the food ,because they could not use the bathrooms while eating at the next door restaurant: there are public facilities close by ,accessible by a lift and wheelchair.

I love the Hussar Grill Willowbridge, Had the opportunity to enjoy a steak dinner here with my colleagues and CEO. For 2 years in a row now we go there for our year end dinner and I'm sure we will continue to go there for many more years to come. Setting: Great atmosphere and good service rating. Food: Good sized portions and prepared perfectly to expectations All around experience: 5 star - Will definitely go again.
