    5 Stars for sure! Authentic Asian look. Their service was excellent and speedy. The food was out of this "country" ;-) We enjoyed almost every bite. The wontons were not what we were expecting....not to our taste.......anybody else might enjoy them. We had 4 courses between the 2 of us. The mess on the table table could have fed a small dog. Highly recommended!!!!

    Authentic chinese restaurant. Classy decorated, cosy inside. Brimming with diners weekends. Spoilt for choice chicken, beef, pork and seafood dishes including hot pot dishes. Not your standard chinese take-away fare though the menu contains the standard chop suey and chow mein options. Try the spicy squid and the garlic sweet and sour pork. Sublime. Friendly efficient service. Very basic affordable wine list.

    1. Noisy inside dining area due to it being a small area and with sound-reflective walls/ceiling.

    2. Service is unrefined.

    3. We were served a dish which contained off pineapple. They apologized repeatedly, but still made us pay the R88 for the dish. Greedy.

    Advice:
    Find a dish you enjoy, and sit in the outside dining area or grab it to go.

    We went to Jasmine Palace on Friday night, and I can honestly say that the food was some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The pork with garlic and sweet-sour sauce, as well as the deep-fried milk, were definitely the highlights of the meal, and the service was excellent as well.

    Best place ever! If you want an experience and good food - this is the place. I had my birthday dinner there and it was amazing!
