    JB Rivers in Hyde Park shopping centre is very, very good. There is a wide menu, including Banting, an excellent wine list and specials every day. Fruit juices are excellent and the service is slick without being obtrusive. Situated close to the Nu Metro movie house, JBR is ideal for pre- or post-movie eating. All the food is good, the burgers are stunning and the chips are almost as good as bELGIAN CHIPS.

    Possibly the worst eating experience I have had in a very long time.. I was in a hurry so I looked through the pasta menu, and the porcini mushroom pasta caught my eye. When the pasta arrived I noticed that it was not porcini mushroom at all, but ordinary button mushrooms and the over-sized portion tasted awful. I didn't have time to replace it for another meal which they did offer, but when I told them this, they didn't offer to to pay for the meal, and instead offered me a free drink to take away (a bit dissapointing).

    JB Rivers used to be fair value for money with an amazing range of menu choices for everyone. Was so disappointed tonight to go back to our old favourite to find the menu overhauled and almost doubled in price. The food is definitely not worth the overinflated prices. Service was very poor and overall just too noisey. Sadly won't be going back and won't be referring anyone else :(
