What a gem Opstal Estate and Restaurant is! We attended a wedding there this weekend past. We received a warm welcome from the staff and had delicious snacks and welcome drinks at their bar as well as the outside section.
The view from the establishment towards the mountains, over the vineyards and with clouds is one of the most breathtaking I have seen. The outside area also has a lovely jungle gym for kids.

The restaurant area is very tasteful. The set menu meal was served to everyone and all very enjoyable. The staff were at hand to do their respective jobs without being intrusive.

The bar obviously sells the Estate wine which is nicely priced and we would definitely visit again. Rawsonville is an amazing little town - so scenic and Opstal as a venue for a wedding is perfect!
