Best curry house in PE in my opinion. Fav dishes for me the chicken tikka masala and the lamb vindaloo - awesome food! Making myself hungry thinking about it so think of going there again tonite!! Yum!

Had 3 curry take aways last night - lamb saag, lamb vindaloo and chicken madras - all wow-good.

Friday night at Rasooie has become a tradition for my partner and I. The decor is simple, the music is fitting and the atmosphere is comfortable and unpretentious. The waiters delay greeting and seating guests and often we still have to wait to receive a menu, they do not interact with the customers or try to create a dining experience, but rather act as servers who take an order and bring food. We have come to terms with this level of service. When it comes to the food, we have always been satisfied. We had tried the Chicken Makhani, Chicken Saag, Palak Panneer, Lamb Roganjosh, Lamb Vindaloo (not as hot as you think) and mutton kebabs (the name of which I forget). We always order plain steamed rice and butter naan and always end up licking our fingers in satisfaction. We tend to bring our own wine although they do have a wine list with sufficient options. They have a reasonable corkage fee.The owner is always busy but he makes sure to pass by every table at some stage. Judging by the full parking lot and the number of feet in and out of the door collecting take aways, Rasooie has a winning streak going. Great service however would be the pinnacle of our experience.
